Message from the President
 Well believe it or not the summer is over and we are into fall. Finally the heat will be behind us and the Snowbirds are on their way. It has been an exciting and educational 9 months in office. The Cape Coral Chapter has had many wonderful events this year and there are three more events before the years end. Our October luncheon on the 15th will be awards and sponsorships. Don’t forget to get your paperwork submitted by October 9th, the application is on our website. November 19th will be the premier “funraiser” at Tarpon Point’s new hotel “Art on the Green”. It is also installation of the 2010 officers and there will lots of fun to be had by all! We will end the year as we have done for many years with our Christmas Chinese Auction on December 17th. We have always had a great turnout for this event and we are projecting an even bigger turnout this year. The 2010 line officers are all set for the upcoming year and I am confident they will continue to make the Chapter prosper and evolve. My experience this year has just reinforced my feelings and commitment for Women’s Council of Realtors as a premier organization that truly adds to anyone’s resume. Our Chapter has grown into a successful Chapter, and anyone that is trying to increase their sphere of influence should consider joining. We are running a membership special through the end of the year. Sign up now thru Dec. 31st 2009 and you get the rest of 2009 included free with the 2010 dues!!! I am looking forward to seeing you all at our next event.

Sunbelt Title Agency My hometown is St. Louis, Missouri (yep, I remain an avid Cardinal Baseball fan today). Our family moved to Winter Park, Florida before the days of Disney World. After high school and college I moved to Vero Beach working in banking, real estate sales, Interior Design and in my spare time was an active member of the Riverside Theatre Players; managing to sneak in time to water ski every chance I could.
Having always been interested in travel I was fortunate to land a job that helped satisfy this passion. Flying as an international flight attendant for National Airlines and Pan American World Airways for 12 years brought me to South America, Europe, Japan and the U.S. During this time, I also had the good fortune to be chosen as one of the crew members to fly the NFL Philadelphia Eagles to all of their away games for 3 of those years.
Then in the early 1990’s, after 60 years as the nation’s flag carrier, Pan American went out of business, leaving many of us without employment. After my stepfather passed away in 1993, I came to Cape Coral to be closer to my mother, only planning to stay a few months; but found a wonderful man Tom and his 3 children to share my life and the rest is history. My interests are traveling, music, enjoying the outdoors, golf, old movies and my family & friends.
The Title Insurance industry has been my calling for the past 16 years and I hold an active Title Insurance Agent License. Last year I was fortunate to join Sunbelt Title Agency as a Business Development Specialist. Our office is located at 3624 Del Prado Blvd. Office: 239-540-3846. I welcome the opportunity to serve you and your customers!
I have been a proud member of the Women’s Council of Realtors since 1994 which has helped me grow professionally and personally through education and leadership opportunities and friendships that will last a lifetime. If you have been thinking of joining a committee, don’t be bashful; we have a great time planning upcoming events. Sellstate Priority Realty Born in Miami, Florida, raised in Weehawken, NJ and back to sunny Florida in 2000. I am a mother of five (Ashley 21, Erick 19, Denae 17, Ryan 16 & Elijah 4) with the wonderful support of a great husband, Albert. Licensed since 2001 with great success.....a million dollar producer ever since. My education included designations like e-Pro, ABR, & SRES. Joined WCR in 2001 and did not find much value in the organization. I'm sure you have heard the expression, "You get out of it what you put IN". Left this paradise in 2003 and moved to Corinth, MS were I became licensed in states Mississippi & Tennessee and continued with my Real Estate passion. I realized I had lost my mind moving away where it is COLD and returned to my home "Florida" in May 2009.
I joined a fabulous office, Sellstate Priority, with the greatest team, Michele Schafer & Donna Stout, I could have asked for. Their support & guidance is a Godsend. Back in the local market saddle trying to get used to all the changes with "short sales", I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by my family and a very supportive office enviornment. Through my team leaders advice, I gave WCR another chance but this time really being involved. After only a few month's I have had the opportunity to help the VP of membership, travelled to Orlando to attend a convention and am happy to say " I am the 2010 President Elect for WCR". GIVE EVERYTHING YOU DO - YOUR ALL!

Cape Coral Women's Council of Realtors invite you to our green event “Art on the Green.”
This event is being held at the new Marina Village Resort located at Tarpon Point, on the green grass overlooking the water. There will be wine and appetizers, local artist displaying and selling their art, donated art pieces to purchase and we will also be featuring young artist from the local High Schools. The evening will also include the installation of the 2010 Line Officers for our Chapter. A small donation of $10.00 will be collected at the door. What a fantastic
opportunity to view this beautiful resort. We will be collecting pieces of art beginning October 1st thru November 15th. If you have that wonderful picture, statue, vase etc that does not have a place in your home...please donate it to our event. It is such a great way to go green.

A reminder to all our members. Women's Council of Realtors supports our troops. We are sending a "We Care" box once a month. Donations truly appreciated. And, just every bit as important, is a note or letter telling them how much we appreciate their sacrifice! I have been told they really like getting notes from the children.
