We are now at the half way point in 2009! Since the first of the year our Chapter has added 18 new members! Congrats to our Membership Team! Ways and Means is gearing up for our fabulous Bags, Bling and Bubbly on July 16th, 2009 from 5:30-8 pm at the Cape Harbour Pavilion. So many goodies so little time to buy….
PMN Class! Our chapter is attempting to put together a class for PMN designees last week of September. The cost would be only $50.00. (Classes have been over $100.00). We need feedback if there are interested parties who would commit to the class before we hire the instructor. The class would be “Effective Negotiating for Real Estate Professionals”. I got into WCR in the late 80's, I was marketing for a bank at that time and they wanted us to belong to all the different organizations in our community so I joined all the WCR organizations including Naples and Ft Myers.
I also went through the Chamber's Leadership class.
I was also a member of Kiwanis I was the 2nd woman in that club and went on to become the president for 1 year.
I have made a lot of friends through WCR over the years and enjoy all the meetings.

Was a licensed beautician and teacher of cosmotology on PA ,Worked at General Motors in the electirical plant for 10 years. moved to CapeCoral Florida in 1980.. Licensed in 1984 ,broker licensed in 1994. Started with Bernie Braden Realty and then came to Century21 Birchwood ,been here ever since!!
Manager of C21 Birchwood, duties - all contracts come thru me , both listing and sales to assure all requred docs are included and to help agents with any problems they may have ,.Teach contract and addendums, I am involved the the Fort Myers board on the orientation and MLS forum committees.I have a strong belief that one of the best ways to keep up on all changes in real estate is involvement in the board. Fran Davis has been my mentor and friend from 1984 and I have learned much from her.
I am married to Richard and have 2 sons, Richard J and Alexander Miller. I have 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.7, 8, 9, & 10.
I don't have time for hobbies to speak of but I read a lot and the last books were the Twilight series. So much fun! My husband was building specs as Sugar Mill Builder and also was a concrete/mason contractor. I can tell you we have not been through quite the same market but certainly thru other downturns and all you have to do is stay the course, work at it steady and it WILL get back to a normal market again!
